Look no further for your doula! The team at Mommy’s Helper is truly a wrap around approach to pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum support. I cannot vouch for them enough. This is the support you want and need!!!! While their name is focused on mothers the team really provides support and education to mom and dad. We chose them after the initial meeting after feeling welcome, supported, at home, and truly heard. They were very responsive the entire time we worked with them. Each class was centered based on our needs, especially as first time parents there were things we wanted to focus on. The classes and even communication throughout was such a great resource. Pregnancy didn’t feel like this huge unknown. They truly provided tools to overcome some anxieties, fears, and concerns from the road ahead. I cannot describe how communicative and effective listened they were. They were able to identify some areas to focus on in addition to what we had in mind. Leading up to the delivery they would check in regularly. Not just if baby was close but also how mom and dad were feeling. Reminding us of tools they taught us. During the delivery we had some unexpected hurdles, Cecilia was very responsive and really the voice of calm even before she arrived. She let us lead the was but was truly a pillar and sense of calm. When she came in she assessed needs of mom and dad, again a long labor with some complications. So she took care of us both. Truly had a tag team approach. I cannot describe how thankful and grateful we were to have her in the room with us. Postpartum the team checked up on us and baby at a pace that was our own. They don’t bombard you with check ins or ask for updates. They simply remind you they are still a resource. Truly felt like family, the ones that respect boundaries lol. Love love love this group so much!!!
